After receiving your FP10 PCD pad and extending your insurance, there are no further parties that you need to notify if you are prescribing independently. 

Medical cannabis can be prescribed by any doctor on the General Medical Council Specialists Register.

Medical cannabis can be prescribed for any condition in the UK, but is most often prescribed for pain management or neurological or psychiatric conditions.  

Medical cannabis is an unlicensed medicine, which means it can only be prescribed when an unmet clinical need has been established by yourself, and as a drug of last resort.
